We are a family owned and operated business based out of the Great Bridge/Grassfield area of Chesapeake and in addition to serving students in Chesapeake, we provide lessons in Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach and the surrounding areas.
My wife and I raised three children in Chesapeake and seeing them drive off in a car for the first time by themselves never got easier. It was the scariest moment in our parenting journey with every child. That being said, I don’t take the responsibility of teaching others how to drive lightly. Not only do I teach my students how to follow the traffic laws and deal with everyday situations on the road, I also discuss with them the dangers of distracted and impaired driving.
I offer a non-judgmental safe place for students to learn. My hope is that all students that I work with feel cautiously confident in their driving ability and they and their loves ones can have peace of mind knowing that they are a safe as possible on the road.
We would love for you to get to know our family and we hope to get to know yours as well!
As mentioned, we are the parents to 3 children and our family is growing as they are adding to theirs! We also have a very spoiled Australian labradoodle, Brandy. We love baseball, the beach, traveling and spending time with the family. We have been members of River Oak Church for over 20 years.
Our daughter Ashley and her husband Will live in Yorktown, VA and are due to have their first child any day now! Ashley graduated from Liberty University and is an Assistant Principal at Tabb Middle School (former Assistant Principal at Great Bridge High School) and Will is an accountant at the Newport News Shipyard. They enjoy traveling, playing kickball and watching South Carolina basketball
Our son Andrew and his better half, Coral blessed us with our first princess, Eden who just turned a year old. Andrew played D1 baseball for Western Carolina and then Charleston Southern. He is now a Project Manager for Huntington Ingalls and coaches for Grassfield High School and Southside Crew baseball.
Our son Austin just married the love of his life, Hunter. They live in the Deep Creek area of Chesapeake and both work at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Austin loves hunting and fishing and Hunter enjoys crafting. They are the parents to two labs, Charlotte and Creed.
